Introduction

The reason why I decided to get back into the swing of things and start writing about K-Pop again is… I am getting older.

No, really.

When I first discovered the world of K-Pop, I was a bright-eyed 20 year old, entering my final year of university (studying Journalism, no less, shout out to the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham!) and was browsing YouTube during a quiet moment between studies and working in the local supermarket. If my memory serves me correctly, as it was about 17 years ago now, I stumbled upon Girl’s Generation’s ‘Gee’. I was actually looking at Japanese anime openings and I remember seeing the screenshot as a recommended  video to watch next. I clicked on it and the rest is history.

I wanted to use this as a platform not only to document my memories but also to share my current thoughts. They say history repeats itself and with entertainment this is even more evident. So let’s not only take a walk down memory lane but also stroll to see what is on the road ahead!
